The recent Attica Days festival, held July 14-15 at the Attica Civic Center on Peppermill Road, included many free activities for children — including an opportunity to make some very large bubbles, as demonstrated by this youngster who mastered the technique in short order.

Adam Gentry will perform again this year during Porchfest Lapeer to be held Saturday, July 15 from 2-6 p.m. on porches and driveways in the downtown Lapeer area. Eighteen musicians and bands are expected to participate in this year’s event, sponsored by the Lapeer Main Street Downtown Development Authority. See story on page 3.
