New Destiny Quartet to perform Saturday evening at North Branch Memorial Park

NORTH BRANCH — New Destiny Quartet will perform Saturday, July 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. at North Branch Memorial Park Street. The event was coordinated by the North Branch Area Events Committee.

Since their formation in 2000, New Destiny Quartet has blended various music styles including praise and worship, contemporary, classic gospel, timeless hymns and patriotic. The members are from southeast Michigan.

New Destiny has ministered in numerous churches, auditoriums, and concert halls throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Tennessee, and Canada. They’ve shared the stage with some of Christian music’s most acclaimed artists, such as Danny Funderburk, The Sound, The Hoppers, The Booth Brothers, Michael English, Guy Penrod, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Vickie Winans, The Dove Brothers, The Talley Trio, Gold City, Squire Parsons and many more.

The group has recorded several national projects, their most recent being their 2022 release, “I Will Stand.” New Destiny Quartet has released several songs to radio stations across the country, with its 2011 radio release “Burning The Midnight Oil” that reached No. 52 on the Singing News Top 80 Radio Chart. Other singles include “Jump Across Jordan”, “Babylon”, and “She’s Working On Her Testimony.”

North Branch Memorial Park is located at the northeast corner of Huron and Brush streets.
