The Golf Outings feature is provided by View Newspaper Group to give area service clubs, charitable organizations, nonprofits, sports booster clubs and other civic and community organizations an opportunity to publicize their golf outings. The Oxford Football Golf Outing will take place at METAMORA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB. Entry is $100 includes 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner. The Lapeer Elks 21st Annual Golf Outing will take place at DEVIL’S RIDGE GOLF CLUB. Registration begins at 8 a.m. for the four-person scramblewitha9a.m.shotgunstart.Fun includes a Vegas hole, longest drive, closest to the pin and skins putting contest. Entry fee is $80 per person, which include golf, cart, prizes, hotdog at the turn and dinner at the course. Open to all community members. The VFW All American Post 4139 Golf Outing will be at ROLLING HILLS GOLF CLUB. Cost is $240 for a team of four and includes 18 holes of golf and cart, hot dogs at the turn, door prizes and dinner at the VFW Hall following golf. The first annual Imlay City Schools Alumni Golf Outing will take place at CASTLE CREEK GOLF COURSE. Tee time is 9 a.m. Cost is $240 per team if registered by July 31 and $300 a team after that.
