July 12, 15, 17, 19: Imlay City Summer Tennis Camp with Coach Mark Walker continues. At Imlay City High courts. Three week session. 8-10 a.m. for beginner/elementary/ middle high school as determined by ability level. 10-11 a.m. for beginner/ elementary, class split by ability level. Cost: Advanced/Intermediate/Middle/High School – $135; Beginner. Elementary $85. Cash or check to Coach Walker on first day. Signup required through SignupGenius. July 15-17: Lapeer Girls’ Basketball Skills Camp. Run by varsity coach Andrew Roberts. Session 1: grades K-4, 9-11 a.m.; Session 2: grades 2-5, noon-2 p.m. Camp is at the Center for Innovation. July 15: North Branch Girls’ Basketball Dribble Stick Camp. 4- 9 p.m. for kids in grades 7-12, at the high school gym.

July 16-18: Imlay City Spartan Boys Basketball Camp, featuring Imlay City Spartan Alum and former Adrian College Basketball player Ben Rodak. This is a teaching camp designed to educate the fundamentals of basketball. A strong focus will be put on individual offensive and defensive skills. Offensively campers will learn how to develop their shooting, ball handling, passing and catching. Defensively campers will learn how to close out on shooters, defending the ball and rebounding. Individual work will be built into team offense and team defense teaching each camper how to play within a group.

Campers entering grades 1-4 9-11 a.m., grades 5-8, noon-2 p.m. Cost: $40.
