Advance tickets for the event, which runs 3-10 p.m. at Louie’s Sports Tavern, are just $15 and include a souvenir tasting glass and three tasting tickets. Additional drink tickets are $1. Tickets at the door are $20.

“It’s hard to believe that our sixth annual event is this weekend,” said Emily Caswell, brand manager at VIEW Group. “But we are ready and just as excited as we were year one. Whether you’ve been all six years or this is your first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to this great community event.”

The festival features a wide variety of craft beers from wheats to stouts to IPAs to hard ciders and much more.

A few of the breweries represented at this year’s event include fan favorites like Bell’s Brewery, Latitude 42 and Stroh’s. Newer Michigan breweries like Lansing Brewing Company, Grand Armory Brewing and Ellison Brewery will also be on hand along with many more.

Live music by John Forsleff, The Locals and The Handsome Devils will keep the crowd entertained.

Louie’s Sports Tavern will serve up food hot off of the grill outside and their regular menu inside.

The event will once again benefit the Lapeer County Hockey Association (LCHA). In the past five years View Brew Fest has raised $31,000 for the organization, which has used the money for life-saving equipment, skills training camps, scholarships and more.

View Brew Fest fun kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 with a VIP Party at Louie’s Sports Tavern. Tickets are $50 and include complementary bar and appetizers, live entertainment by Jaime Marvin, plus early entry to Saturday’s event at 2 p.m.
