PAMELA KAY KING, 70, of Deerfield Township, passed peacefully into the great unknown on March 4, 2017 with her family and friends beside her.

Pam was born December 23, 1947, in Traverse City, to the late Leon and Hazel Trowbridge. She married Basil E. King on November 22, 1990. Pam was a member of Country Christian Church and Lapeer Eagles Club #2427. She enjoyed painting, bird watching, keeping an eye out for her favorite chipmunk on the porch, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Pam is survived by her husband, Basil; children, Michael (Debbie) Stewart, Kenneth (Kateena) Stewart, Christina Severn, Basil (Christina) King and Dana King. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Debora; uncle, Rodger; and aunt, Leona.

Memorial contributions in memory of Pam may be made to the Lapeer Eagles Club.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Pam’s life will be held 7 p.m. on April 20, 2018 at the Lapeer Eagles Club. Pam’s cremains will be interred at W. Deerfield Cemetery on April 22, 2018.
