Columbiaville to host first ‘Christmas in the Village’

COLUMBIAVILLE — On Sunday, Dec. 10 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Columbiaville Community Center in downtown Columbiaville, the first annual Christmas in the Village event will kick off in the hope that the community will come together and celebrate the holidays as well as what makes the village a unique place.

Christmas in the Village will feature photos with Santa, holiday hay rides around the downtown area, raffles, crafts for kids and a 5:45 p.m. Christmas tree lighting, complete with hot cocoa provided by the Marathon Township first responders and a community Christmas singalong.

Central to the Christmas in the Village event is the holiday market, featuring 32 local vendors selling a variety of goods, such as jewelry, baked goods, candles, teas, wreaths, grave blankets and more.
