Polly Ann Trail Ride set for Saturday

DRYDEN TWP. — It’s time to saddle up for the sixth annual Polly Ann Trail Ride, set for 9 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 14) at General Squier Memorial Park.

There is a $15 charge for the event, which includes coffee and donuts.

Registration for the ride will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the park and riders are free to cover as much or little of the trail as they wish. However, she noted, she knows of only one rider in the event’s history that has covered the entire 18 miles north from the park to Curtis Road.

The Polly Ann Trail stretches 20 miles from Curtis Road in Arcadia Township, south to Bordman Road where it joins the 14-mile-long section of the Polly Ann Trail in Oakland County.

General Squier Memorial Park is located at 4725 S. Mill Rd., south of Dryden.
