June 12-16: Girls’ soccer camp at North Branch High. 5-7 p.m. Open to girls who will be in grades 8-12 for the 2017-2018 school year. Cost: $30. Coached by varsity coach Rick Skelton

June 19-21: Lady Broncos “Court” Camp 2017. Open to girls entering grades 2-6 for the Fall 2017. Volleyball 8:30-10:30 a.m., supervised lunch 10:30-11 a.m., basketball 11 a.m.-1 p.m. North Branch Middle School Gym/Ruth Fox Gym. COST: $60 each; includes camp T-shirt. Additional siblings pay $30 each. Camp staff includes North Branch volleyball and basketball coaches assisted by the varsity, JV and freshman players. Deadline to register: June 13. June 19-22: Almont Basketball Skills Camp for boys currently in grades 3-7. Run by Coach John Hall and varsity players. Focus on the fundamentals of individual and team play in a fun and competitive environment. The ratio of coaches to campers is very high in order to guarantee that each player gets as much individual attention as possible. Each player will also get a camp shirt. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost: $70. Almont main and auxiliary gyms.

June 19-22: 2017 Lady Martian Summer Basketball Camp, 9-11:30 a.m., Goodrich High gym. Camp Director is Coach Jason Gray, varsity girls’ coach. Instructors Dave Davis, JV girls’ coach. Goodrich girls’ team members will serve as individual instructors. Open to girls entering grades 2-8. Cost: $75 in advance and at the door. Includes T-shirt, development and improvement of individual offensive skills, small group instruction, team play and basketball concepts, skill evaluation, game experience and lots of fun. June 19, 20: Grand Blanc Baseball Camp. Open to players entering grades 1-9. Focus is on fundamentals of hitting, fielding, catching, pitching and base running. Run by Grand Blanc varsity coach Kevin Hubbs, along with past and current players. Camp is at the varsity baseball field. Session 1: grades 1-4, 10 a.m.-noon; Session 2: grades 5-7, 12:15-2:15 p.m.; Session 3: grades 8-9, 2:15-4:15 p.m. Cost: $60. Bring glove, bat, helmet, cleats or tennis shoes. June 20: Junior Golf Clinic hosted by Castle Creek. Designed to help prepare middle school golfers for the high school golf team. Instructed by Imlay City varsity coach Jeff Hansen with alumni assistant coach Jonathan Keeley and girls’ varsity coach Tom Blount. Open to girls in grades 7-9, beginner to advanced. June 20-21: Imlay City Cheer Clinic. Open to all girls in grades K-6. Taught by Imlay City varsity cheer team and coaches. Kids will learn cheer, tumbling and stunts. 6-8 p.m. at the Imlay City Auditoria. Cost: $30, includes T-shirt. Make checks payable to Imlay City Schools.

June 23: Fourth Annual Thumb Sportswriters Association All-Thumb All-Star Basketball Game. Best seniors from the TSA coverage area broken into East and West squads. Games start at 6 p.m., girls first then boys. Admission: $5, with proceeds going to the Thumb Sportswriters Association.

June 26, 27: North Branch football- mini camp for freshman, JV, and varsity 6-8:30 p.m.

Focus on fundamentals of offensive and defensive skills through drills, games, one-on-one, two-on-two and three-on-three activities. Sessions by age groups. Grades 3-5, 9:30 11:30 a.m., grades 6-7 noon-2 p.m., grades 8-10, 2:30-4:30 p.m. Limited to first 60 to sign up. Cost: $55, includes T-shirt and basketball. July 10-13: North Brach volleyball camp. Girls entering grades 9-12 – 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cost: $80, limited to first 36 girls. Girls entering grades 6-8 – 12:30-2:30 p.m. (Thursday noon-2 p.m.) Cost: $50, limited to first 36 girls. Camp directed by North Branch Volleyball coaching staff.

July 12-15: MCC Summer Volleyball Day Camp. For girls in grades 3-12. Session 1 girls in grades 3-7, 9 a.m.-noon. Session 2 girls in grades 8-12, 12:30- 3:30 p.m. Ballenger Field House. Cost: $60. Two kids from same family pay $50 per child for one session; includes camp T-shirt.. Emphasis will be placed on volleyball skill development. Directed by MCC head coach Katie Naves and the MCC Women’s Volleyball Team. Coach Naves has more than 10 experience coaching Volleyball through the Amateur Athletic Union and at the high school level, as well as Volleyball camps at Michigan State University and All-American Volleyball. July 17-19: North Branch football team camp for JV/freshman/8th-grade 5-7 p.m.

July 18-20: Imlay City High School cross country camp. July 18 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the high school, July 19 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the high school and City pool/park (bring swim items to work out in the pool), July 20 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the high school. Attendees will learn about running form, nutrition/hydration, team building, injury prevention, having fun in the sport.
