Spaghetti dinner today at Lapeer Center Building
LAPEER — Another tasty Lapeer Center Building dinner will be served to the public from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20. Featured this month is spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert for $10 (children ages 5-12, $5). Evening will include DJ Tony Monteleone, a 50/50 drawing and door prizes. Red Cross to conduct blood drive in Lapeer
LAPEER — The American Red Cross will conduct a blood drive today, April 20 from 2-6:15 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1310 N. Main St. in Lapeer.
State Rep. Howell to hold office hours Friday in Imlay City, Lapeer
LAPEER COUNTY — State Rep. Gary Howell of Deerfield Township invites residents to join him for district office hours on Friday, April 21 at:
• 10:30 a.m. to noon at John’s Country Kitchen, 1829 S. Cedar St. in Imlay City; and
• 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Hungry Dan’s Restaurant, 195 W. Genesee St. in Lapeer.

Dryden Fire Dept. to serve pancake breakfast Sunday
DRYDEN— The Dryden Fire Dept. will serve pancakes, eggs and sausage from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 23 at the Dryden firehouse, 5532 Main St.
The meal is free, however donations are welcome to help cover the cost of rescue equipment.
Lapeer Cruise Night starts May 8 for season
LAPEER — Another sure sign of spring in downtown Lapeer is the return of the Lapeer Cruise Night.
Sponsored by the Lapeer Downtown Development Association, Lapeer Cruise Night will be held from 5:30-9 p.m. Monday evenings, starting May 8 through Sept. 11. The car cruise is held on Nepessing Street between Court and Mason streets.
The car cruise will not be held Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day.
Concert series to begin June 1 at market pavilion
LAPEER — The Lapeer Downtown Business Association was will host its seasonal Thursday Night Concert Series at the Lapeer Farmer’s Market Pavilion from 6-9 p.m., beginning June 1 through Aug. 20. The concerts are free, and include a wide variety of musical interests.
