Rep. Paul Mitchell guest speaker at Lincoln Day Dinner on March 25
ELBA TWP. — The public is invited to the Lapeer County Republican Party’s 2017 Lincoln Day Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at the Lapeer Country Club, 3786 Hunt Rd. in Elba Township. Guest speaker will be Congressman Paul Mitchell, R-Dryden Township.

This is the largest annual event hosted by the Republican Party in Lapeer County and an opportunity to meet many county, state and federal public servants area residents have elected.
Mitchell serves in
Congress to represent Michigan’s 10th District that includes Lapeer County. Prior to his election to Congress, Mitchell served as chairman of the Coalition Against
Higher Taxes and
Special Interest Deals which fought the 2015
Proposal 1 tax increase which was defeated by
Michigan voters. He also served as chairman of the Michigan Faith and Freedom Coalition.
Mitchell serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the House Education and Workforce Committee, and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
