PIX to feature evening of stand-up comedy

Mike Bobbitt Mike Bobbitt LAPEER — Starting out 2015 with a laugh, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly will be at The PIX on Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. Mike Bobbitt and his friends Steve Lind, and Bob Phillips present an evening of stand-up comedy.

Steve Lind (The Good) will share his unique perspective as a husband and father of four boys. Lind doesn’t pick on members of the audience or employ “blue comedy,” using curse words or risqué material. Instead, he’ll take swings at family life, sports, or the outof touch, with clean and family-friendly stand-up. Lind has opened for acts like Kathleen Madigan and Tim Allen.

Bob Phillips (The Bad) makes audiences across the country laugh with a clever blend of observational, topical, political, and everyday comedy from the perspective of a single father. From the perils of being a single parent to the mystery that is Paris Hilton, Phillips covers a lot of ground with his stand-up. Sometimes biting, sometimes endearing, but always in charge, Phillips has something for everyone. He’s a nationally touring comedian and a regular on XM/ Sirius radio.

Bob Phillips Bob Phillips Mike Bobbitt (The Ugly) is a Detroit native who recently made the jump to Los Angeles to pursue his stand-up career. He brings a punk rock edge to his nerdy brand of comedy by embracing the things he loves while simultaneously mocking them. He’s been in several movies and television shows, though if you blink you’ll probably miss him.

Adult advance tickets are $15, senior and student advance tickets $13. Adult tickets at the door are $19, senior and student $17.
