Elks’ Ace of Hearts game continues Monday night

LAPEER — The Lapeer Elks’ progressive jackpot game the Ace of Hearts is still taking place every Monday night at Louie’s Sports Tavern in Lapeer, with a fresh chance to win the ever growing jackpot each week.

At 8:30 p.m. every Monday the Elks draw one ticket out of a bowl and that ticket holder has the chance to pick one playing card from a deck of cards. Whoever finds the Ace of Hearts card immediately wins the jackpot, which grows each week along with ticket sales.

Tickets cost $1 each and are available at Louie’s and the Lapeer Elks Lodge on East Nepessing St. in downtown Lapeer. Ticket sales end each week at 8 p.m. sharp. Cash prizes are also available for finding other special cards.

Facebook Feedback Question of the Week

LAPEER COUNTY — Every week readers of the Lapeer Area View and The County Press are encouraged to answer the “Question of the Week” posted on the Jacob Hunsanger Facebook Page.

Questions range from lighthearted polls to hard-hitting questions about local topics. The best responses each week are printed in the next week’s edition of the Lapeer Area View. Be sure to log onto Facebook, search for the Jacob Hunsanger Page and “Like” it to answer the question — along with getting additional content and breaking news in the community.

This week’s question is: If you could meet and talk to one person, living or dead, who would that be and why?
