Blotter Shots?ELBA TWP. — A Pratt Drive woman told Michigan State Police that she heard two gunshots outside her house. Police said they believe it was fireworks. Bad touch LAPEER — A Baldwin Road woman told Lapeer City Police Jan. 30 that she was at the fish tanks in the Meijer store on DeMille Road about 1:30 p.m. the day before when a man walked up behind her and grabbed her behind. She said the suspect was about 40-years-old and mostly bald. Coat returned LAPEER — A woman told Lapeer City Police Jan. 30 that her daughter’s coat and jewelry were stolen at Trinity United Methodist Church. There is a suspect. The coat and jewelry were returned. Unwanted calls LAPEER — A Peppermill Circle woman told Lapeer City Police Jan. 30 that she’s been getting harassing phone calls and she knows who it is. Radio gone MAYFIELD TWP. — A Brookfield Road woman told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. Jan. 30 that she just returned from three weeks in Florida to find thieves had taken her radio from her car. Raised a stink DRYDEN — Dryden Township Police cited a Chestnut Lane juvenile with drug possession Jan. 30 after an anonymous caller told them they could smell marijuana smoke. Puppy found ELBA TWP. — A motorist told Central Dispatch Jan. 30 that she found a small puppy running on Davison Road near Elba Road and tried to drop it off at Animal Control, but Animal Control was closed. The woman wanted to turn the dog in. Dirty bust LAPEER — Lapeer City Police took a woman into custody for drug possession Jan. 30 following a traffic stop on Imlay City Road. Police stopped the woman’s Lumina because her license plate was unreadable. Bird dog found RICH TWP. — West Castle Road woman told Central Dispatch Jan. 31 that she found a bird dog, in rough shape, in her yard. Paradise Rescue took the dog and Animal Control was notified. Warrants The following warrant list was provided by the Lapeer County District Court office. The list is from Jan. 27 through 10 a.m. Feb. 3.
