Hadley Twp. moves forward with school property bid
      HADLEY TWP. — Hadley Township Supervisor Ernie Monroe said the township submitted its bid for Hadley Elementary School to the Lapeer Community School district last week. At this week's township board meeting, he said there had been no decision yet, and he had received no timeline for a response. He said he didn't know if there were other bids.

It’s the Pits fundraiser set
      METAMORA — The MLPA (Metamora Land Preservation Alliance) "It's the Pit's" fundraising event is Monday Nov. 16 from 6:30- 9:30 at the Historic White Horse Inn. Tickets are $50 each, which includes a buffet dinner. There also will be a live and silent auction. Tickets available at the White Horse Inn. Seating is limited.
