Rifle round found in lot

LAPEER — An employee at Tractor Supply Co. on Imlay City Road told Lapeer City Police March 9 that they found a live rifle round in the parking lot.

Dog recovered

ARCADIA TWP. — A North Youngs Road woman told Central Dispatch March 9 that she found a large black German shepherd on her side porch. She said she put the animal in her barn and fed it. Animal Control was notified.

Cable stolen

IMLAY CITY — A Verizon employee told Imlay City Police March 9 that thieves took some telephone cable from a warehouse on South Cedar Street.

Cars vandalized

LAPEER — A Church Street woman told Lapeer City Police March 9 that her renters near the corner of West Nepessing and North Main streets told her someone did minor vandalism to their cars and tried to break in the door to their house about a week ago.

Vehicle stolen

GOODLAND TWP. — A Muck Road man stopped by the Imlay City Police Dept. March 9 to report his vehicle had been stolen sometime in the last month.

Credit card fraud reported

LAPEER TWP. — A East Hunters Creek woman told Central Dispatch March 9 that a credit card company told her someone used her personal information.

Boy assaulted

LAPEER — A Dewey Street woman told Lapeer City Police March 9 that her 7-year-old son was assaulted by a 13- year-old girl and her 9-year-old brother.

Ex-girlfriend kicks in door

LAPEER — A Dewey Street man told Lapeer City Police March 9 that his exgirlfriend kicked in the screen door on his home. He said the woman had calmed down and was still there, but he needed a report for the manager of his apartment complex.

Fight in hallway

LAPEER — A Village West Drive woman told Lapeer City Police March 9 that a 21-year-old bald man and a heavy-set man with brown hair and glasses were fighting in the hallway. She said the pair had been in and out of several other buildings.

Man overhears death threat

LAPEER — A South Saginaw Street man told Lapeer City Police March 10 that he was working in the basement of his apartment when he heard another tenant discussing having him killed in the next few days. He said he believes it’s payback for his testimony in an earlier case.

Dogs on loose

LAPEER — A motorist told Central Dispatch March 10 that two large dogs were wandering in a vacant lot on South Main Street southwest of the State Police Post.

Trailer stolen

COLUMBIAVILLE — A spokesman for Regions Internet told the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Dept. March 10 that thieves took an 18-foot 2007 double-axle flatbed trailer with ladders on it from a job site somewhere in the Columbiaville area sometime in the last three or four days.

Stalker confronts woman at store

LAPEER — A woman told Lapeer City Police March 10 that a man followed her and a companion to the parking lot at the Save-A-Lot store on South Main Street; blocked them in; and wanted her to go with him. She said this is an ongoing problem.

Vehicle keyed; lottery tickets left

LAPEER — A Washington Street woman told Lapeer City Police March 10 that someone stole her trash last week and today keyed her car and left lottery tickets under her windshield wiper.
